Security:
The entire property uses a magnetic keycard system that allows individuals and staff to access only rooms specified by the programming of their keycard. The keycards allow staff access to specified rooms only during specified hours on specified days. Guest keycards are programmed to work only for specific dates. This avoids a major security problem associated with other rental properties which is the inevitable multitude of keys roaming around from previous guests and employees. It is also added security control because all keycards and locks can be scanned to determine which keycards have been used to gain access to specific locations along with the times of access – a deterrent to staff security problems.

Spa Services: We are pleased to offer Spa Services to its guests in the privacy of their own guestrooms or in other locations of the house such as the main terrace. A select group of Massage Therapists and Beauty Technicians have been carefully chosen to provide guests with professional spa services. Products used in the treatments have also been approved by us to meet demanding standards. A Menu of Villa Spa Treatments is available in this Guest Information Book.

Should you prefer an appointment at a specialized spa facility, our staff is happy to make reservations for you at the Spa at Esperanza, a luxury spa located approximately 20 minutes from the house. A Brochure of the Spa at Esperanza is available upon request.

There is a Polycom SoundStation® Conference Phone in the Boardroom for full-duplex (two-way) conference calls.

Telescope/Binoculars:
There is a NewStar 70mm Telescope located in the Living Room that can be used to see the magnificent array of stars in the Southern Baja skies. The telescope is easy to use, but for guests eager to get the most out of it, there is a short instructional video called Cosmic Connections that is worth watching. Also, there is an amazing CD Rom called “Starry Night” that any astronomy buff will find addictive. Among other features, the CD Rom allows the viewer to explore the night sky from anywhere on earth, even allowing the viewer to go back in history to see what the sky looked like hundreds of years ago. Starry Night has a wide variety of star charts that can be printed out and used as reference. This CD Rom can be used with the guest computer in the Boardroom. Guests may choose to use the Boardroom’s HP Projector to view this CD Rom on the room’s big, pull-down screen to create a planetarium setting.

Each Guest Room is offered the use of a pair of Tasco 8x32 Binoculars while at the house. These binoculars are perfect for getting a better view of the whales that frequent the area in the winter months or for watching the schools of fish that swim just below the cliff in the clear ocean water.
