Spanish Water Cay is located only 45 minutes away from Caracas and  a short jaunt from the Curacaoan mainland.  This is a picturesque private island that is home to a grand villa, made up of three interconnecting buildings.

At home in the island's residence you'll find four opulent en-suite guest rooms and a grand living area plus barbecue terrace that makes for perfect entertainment for yourself and any day-visitors who have traveled over to your island via yacht.

The villa’s modern kitchen is stocked to the brim with culinary treats before your arrival, and can stocked up on request by the island’s friendly caretaking couple during the course of the vacation. With fresh fruit and veg available from the markets of Willemstad, you’ll have no problems cooking up a treat, from beachside barbecues to cool Curacaoan cuisine. For those who prefer to stay out of the kitchen whilst on holiday, gourmet cuisine can be arranged for an extra fee. Alternatively, an abundance of international restaurants awaits on the mainland, each certain to tantalize the taste buds.

Curaçao is a popular destination with direct flights possible from many international airports. Flights from nearby Caracas and Miami take 45 minutes and 2.5 hours respectively, whereas guests from northern climes will enjoy a longer journey, with flights from New York lasting 5 hours and flights from Europe lasting approximately 9 hours. Upon arrival in Curacao, the relaxing pace of island life takes hold, with your hosts welcoming you with style and accompanying you to your new island abode.

The island offers plenty of entertainment.  It is also an ideal place for a wedding, , and forms the perfect,   honeymoons or any other intimate celebration.

What's there to do on your own private island?  Well ... from basking on the beach to swimming, surfing,   snorkeling, you'll have plenty to do in and around Little Spanish Cay.  You're surrounded by fish-rich waters and popular diving sites.  

The facilities of Hyatt Hotel are conveniently located on the mainland.  While here you’re free to do as much or as little as you wish.  Into culture?  You will  love  the UNESCO protected town of Willemstad.  Shopping?  You'll be delighted by the tax-friendly prices in the capital’s boutiques and malls.

Sightseeing?  Fort Amsterdam, the Fortkerk Church and Fort Beekenburg are a must, the Hato limestone caves, the Botanical Garden or the Hofi Pastor are great adventures especially for  ecologically-minded traveler.

In the Netherland Antilles, it’s summer all year round! Temperatures hover around 28°C all year round, with no danger of humidity thanks to a gentle trade wind sweeping in from the east.
