This magnificent beautiful property “Chateau Villette” is located northwest 35 minutes by car right outside Paris.

The Chateau de Villette sits on 185+ acres and was
designed by architect Francois Mansart around 1668 for Jean Dyel, the Comte d'Aufflay, and Louis XIV's ambassador to Venice and finished around 1696 by his nephew Jules Hardouin-Mansart. 

Jules Hardouin-Mansart was well known for his architecture style, as he always seemed to portray “Power & Grandeur” in his creative work always highlighting King Louis the XIV in his work.

Chateau Villette is one of the most significant historical chateaux in France; Versailles II is both simple and extravagant with its white and blue salons that defining again both elegance and power.

The dining room is set with the original 17th Century carved stone buffet that displays the stunning stones in the entrance halls, giving it that validation of classicism of that period in time. 


Recently the Chateau went under some serious huge renovations these last 3 years where the new owner invested over 22 million Euros + in updating this beautiful property with famous French designer Jacques Garcia. 
The new
added antique furniture has been imported from New York recently this month of Dec. of 2016 and renovations are now completed!

You may have noticed that the Chateau used to have 17 bedrooms but now holds 14 new remodeled bedrooms complete with their own en-suite having their own private entrance.

20 bathrooms in all.

7 of the bedrooms are on one side of the Chateau and 7 on the right wing of the building.  All newly beautifully remodeled with limestone, antique mirrors and chandeliers.  

Additionally, new phone service has been installed in each and ever room at the Chateau.

Professional gourmet kitchen was completely remodeled in 2014 and now has top of the line Hobart commercial appliances.

Your stay comes complete with a chef , butler, maid service along with concierge.

The Grounds
The 185+ acres of garden was designed by Le Notre and spreads out behind the chateau in the central axis with two rectangular lakes filled with swans, ducks, birds and fish.
The spectacular cascade and fountain that resembles the one at Louis XIV's Chateau Marly, surmounted by a Neptune. The private and serene grounds provide numerous outdoor activities for the chateau guests, including jogging, biking, hunting, the swimming pool and newly built tennis court. Jules Hardouin-Mansart and Le Notre designed Versailles at the same time when they designed Chateau de Villette. Therefore Villette was nicknamed "Le Petite Versailles".

The large heated covered sparkling swimming pool (12 m x 5 m, 2 m of depth). The gym includes a treadmill, stationary bike, rowing machine and Power plate.

Attractions & Activities

There are numerous outbuildings including a spacious chapel and Adjacent reception rooms, horse stables, greenhouse and a 13th Century building containing an 800 years-old wine press machine.


 Chateau Villette has 14 deluxe bedrooms in total. Each come complete with it's own private en-suites. 20 Bathrooms in all.

With the recent new renovations the en-suites are now separated. There are now 7 super deluxe bedrooms in main chateau, and an additional plus 7 superior bedrooms in the wing.

The "party wing” is used for weddings along with a large chapel that seats up to 80 guests. Party Wing also has a bar, a reception room, with it’s own large entry and the Orangerie has been remodeled into a beautiful banquet room which now seats 80 guests as well.
